Janet Kelly, founder Care and attention has been given to maintaining the old world atmosphere of a nineteenth century mercantile building that had, for over 100 years, been a well known local hardware store, Neyle-Sopers. When the original family died out, the building lay dormant for some years before being restored by the present owners in 1999. Great care was taken to keep the “as built” look and feel. As little as possible was changed. Adjacent to the store is Fishhook Neyle’s Common Room, where visitors may eat, read or socialize. The owners invite the general public to use this space, and no purchase is required to make use of it While browsing around down town, stop by for a rest and a snack.
